Step 2 - Finalise shape & technical drawings

White ash wood was readily available in 8" width, which meant that if I had to achieve a width of 16" as the finished width for my bench, I would have needed 3 pieces. Instead, to avoid so much wastage, I changed the width of my bench to 15.5" finished width tapering down to 13.5" to optimize usage.
