Step 4 - Carve the recessed part and fillet

Maintained the lip of the bench at 20mm and the ottoman at 49mm. In my drawing for the ottoman, some edges remained at 32mm so while we were carving the recessed art, the carpenter Irshad took a thin metal scale to make a new radius and keep the lip at 49mm everywhere.

The fillet was done by setting the router bit at 1.5" and then finishing by hand sanding. Earlier I wanted a full fillet on the edge but since the wood thickness has reduced, I went for a smaller radius.
