The legs were crafted using a lathe machine. They were carved out of a 10x10-inch block of white ash, which was formed by combining five pieces of 2-inch thick wood. Although I initially intended to make the legs hollow from the bottom, the manual lathe was not capable of achieving this after the carving had been completed. Additionally, since the wood had been joined from multiple blocks, there was a high risk of chipping. Once the first leg was completed, we weighed it to ensure that it did not exceed the weight limit for shipping. Surprisingly, the leg only weighed 4.6 kg, which was well under my expectations. To ensure accuracy, the legs were designed by replicating the prototype, accompanied by a 1:1 drawing of the dimensions.
